SPA professor receives fellowship to work on book about global business reactions to climate change

Lily Hsueh, a School of Public Affairs assistant professor and ASU senior sustainability scientist, has received the American Association of University Women’s (AAUW) 2020-21 American Fellowship. The fellowship will enable her to work on her book, under contract at MIT Press, which examines the demand for, and supply of, global businesses’ climate action, across levels of governance, sectors and in developed and developing countries.

Hsueh said in an AAUW statement that her book will “tell a larger narrative about the economic and political forces that motivate or dissuade private and public actors, such as corporations and governments, to combat global climate change.”
