MPA 4+1 information session
Earn a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree in one year via the 4 + 1 program
Take 14 credits of graduate-level PAF courses your senior year that count for both your bachelor's degree in PSPP and the MPA.
Take 28 credits of graduate-level courses (nine 3-credit PAF courses and one 1-hour PAF course) the summer, fall and spring after graduating – one in the summer after graduating, four in the fall, four in the spring. Graduate with your MPA exactly one year after earning your B.S.
- 3.5 or higher GPA after completing 75 credits. Students may apply after or during the semester in which they will be earning 75 or more credits.
- Maintain 3.5 or higher GPA through 90 credits.
- October 1, 2016: starting to take graduate-level courses fall 2017 and beginning MPA program summer 2018.
- March 1, 2017: starting to take graduate-level courses spring 2018 and beginning MPA program spring 2019.
