Biography

Jeremy Rodrigues is an Associate Director of Global Security at Pratt & Whitney, a leading aerospace manufacturer of commercial and military aircraft engines. Jeremy is responsible for implementing Pratt & Whitney's global security strategy across the organization and serves as the recognized senior leader for enterprise security risk management services throughout the Americas, including Canada, the United States, and Latin America. 

Prior to joining Pratt & Whitney in 2019, Jeremy led the successful creation of the global security operations center at The Boeing Company. In this role, Jeremy was responsible for crisis management, intelligence analysis, and emergency communications for the world's largest aerospace company.

Jeremy previously served as a foreign affairs officer at the U.S. Department of State, where he managed global security programs at the Bureau of Diplomatic Security's Overseas Security Advisory Council (OSAC) and Office of Intelligence and Threat Analysis. Earlier in his career, he worked at the U.S. Department of Energy's Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, where he established a preventive radiation detection program for first responders in southern California. Jeremy began his civil service career as a border patrol agent in southern California. 

A commissioned officer in the U.S. Coast Guard Reserve, Jeremy's military service began on active duty as a maritime law enforcement specialist, conducting counterdrug operations throughout Latin America. Later, Jeremy served as an enforcement officer at Sector San Diego, as a counterdrug intelligence analyst at the Coast Guard's Intelligence Coordination Center and as the intelligence officer at a U.S. Navy coastal riverine squadron during Operation Enduring Freedom. Jeremy also participated as part of the Coast Guard's historic responses to the September 11th, 2001 attacks, hurricanes Katrina and Rita, and the Deepwater Horizon oil spill. He is currently assigned as the senior reserve intelligence officer at Sector San Diego. 

Jeremy is a faculty associate at Arizona State University's Watts College of Public Service & Community Solutions, where he teaches courses in homeland security & emergency management. He is a member of ASIS International's Chief Security Officer (CSO) Center for Leadership & Development, the Phoenix Committee on Foreign Relations and serves on Senator Kyrsten Sinema's Veterans Advisory Council.

Jeremy holds a Master of Science degree in Homeland Security and a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Security & Conflict Resolution, both from San Diego State University. He is also a graduate of the ISMA Senior Executive Leadership Program at Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management. He resides in South Glastonbury, Connecticut with his wife, Marcela and their three children.
