Jeremy Rodrigues is an Associate Director of Global Security at Pratt & Whitney, a leading aerospace manufacturer of commercial and military aircraft engines. Jeremy is responsible for implementing Pratt & Whitney's global security strategy across the organization and serves as the recognized senior leader for enterprise security risk management services throughout the Americas, including Canada, the United States, and Latin America.
Prior to joining Pratt & Whitney, Jeremy led the successful creation of the global security operations center at The Boeing Company. In this role, Jeremy was responsible for crisis management, intelligence analysis, and emergency communications for the world's largest aerospace company.
Jeremy previously served as a foreign affairs officer at the U.S. Department of State, where he managed global security programs at the Bureau of Diplomatic Security's Overseas Security Advisory Council (OSAC) and Office of Intelligence and Threat Analysis. Earlier in his career, he worked at the U.S. Department of Energy's Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory and as a border patrol agent in southern California.
A commissioned officer in the U.S. Coast Guard Reserve, Jeremy is currently assigned to the staff of the First District headquarters in Boston, Massachusetts. He previously served as the senior reserve intelligence officer at Sector San Diego, as a counterdrug analyst at the Coast Guard's Intelligence Coordination Center, and at a U.S. Navy coastal riverine squadron during Operation Enduring Freedom. Jeremy began his military career as a maritime law enforcement specialist, conducting counterdrug operations throughout Latin America and the Caribbean as a member of the Coast Guard’s Pacific Tactical Law Enforcement Team.
Jeremy is a faculty associate at Arizona State University's Watts College of Public Service & Community Solutions, where he teaches courses in homeland security & intelligence studies. He is a member of ASIS International's Chief Security Officer (CSO) Center for Leadership & Development and the Phoenix Committee on Foreign Relations. He previously served on Senator Kyrsten Sinema's Veterans Advisory Council.
Jeremy holds a Master of Science degree in Homeland Security and a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Security & Conflict Resolution, both from San Diego State University. He is also a graduate of the ISMA Senior Executive Leadership Program at Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management. He resides in South Glastonbury, Connecticut with his wife, Marcela, and their three children.
