ranks ASU Master of Public Policy program 7th best in U.S.

Citing it as the best in the Southwest, has ranked ASU’s Master’s in Public Policy (MPP) degree program seventh best in the nation, based on its excellence in reputation, outcomes, flexibility, cost and faculty.

The ASU program, taught in the School of Public Affairs (SPA) in the Watts College of Public Service and Community Solutions, is one of’s Top 20 MPP programs for 2020. ASU received an Intelligent Score of 90.36 on a 100 scale, ranking it higher than similar degree programs at Northwestern University and Indiana University.

Seattle-based also cited ASU’s tuition for the degree of $532 per credit hour, which is far lower than Northwestern’s $3,520 per credit hour and Indiana’s $892 per credit hour.
