Capital Scholars scholarship available
This program develops future leaders by providing undergraduate students with hands-on training in the public policymaking process in Washington, D.C.
ASU has provided an opportunity for up to 25 students to spend a summer in Washington, D.C., interning with Congress, federal agencies, advocacy groups, the media, nonprofit organizations, think tanks and policy research groups. The interns also participate in activities organized just for them, including tours of Annapolis, the State Department and the CIA; career panels; cultural events and lectures.
The School of Public Affairs will provide funding up to $4,000 each for 1 or 2 serious students with an interest in public policy, a strong work ethic and a passion for new ideas and experiences.
