MARVIN ANDREWS GRADUATE PROGRAM IN URBAN MANAGEMENT

Admissions
Applicants to the Marvin Andrews program are accepted only once a year for admission to begin each Fall. Admission is very competitive. The program, which will lead to the Masters of Public Administration degree, will admit up to six students each year, based on a search process designed to identify the country’s most talented students aspiring to executive levels in local government.
All applicants must submit the following materials to ASU Graduate College :
- an official application;
- official transcripts of all undergraduate and graduate work;
- official scores on the GRE;
- international students should also submit TOEFL scores. The minimum TOEFL score for regular admission is 550.
All applicants must submit the following materials to the School of Public Affairs:
- three letters of recommendation (at least two should be faculty who can evaluate applicant’s academic performance);
- a written statement of applicant’s educational and career goals (this is also used as a sample of the applicant’s writing abilities) - please indicate that you are a Marvin Andrews Fellow applicant on your statement;

All application materials must be submitted by February 15, 2010 for the 2010-2011 class.
